The Mu Alpha Theta Honor Society is accepting applications!

Mu Alpha Theta members must meet the following requirements:

  • Completed Algebra 2 OR currently enrolled in Algebra 2 or higher

  • Have a 3.5 minimum weighted GPA in their math courses

BV Femineer Information

Cal Poly Pomona College of Engineering is excited to start a new cohort of Femineers this 2020-2021 academic year. The Femineer Program empowers K-12 female students to develop the skills and confidence needed to pursue majors and careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) fields. High School graduation diplomas will reflect the legal name parents were asked to enter upon enrollment. To verify this information is correct you must follow each of the

following steps. Please do not look at your student’s name on the first screen as that

does not reflect their LEGAL NAME.

  • Log into ParentVUE

  • Click on Online Registration (top right corner)

  • Click on Review (above Status)

  • Scroll all the way down to Student - Demographics or ctrl F type Legal

  • Verify LEGAL First, Middle and Last Name is correct

BVW Ornaments for the Holidays

Commemorate a most unique year for your high school with a special ornament this holiday! Ornaments are $12 each tax included. Orders will be accepted through December 15th. Your order will be processed as soon as the payment has been received and you will be notified by email for pick up location/times. All proceeds from the ornaments will go to the BVW Band Program. Winter Sports are underway!

Winter Sports are underway! If you have a child involved in a winter sport, the best way to stay up-to-date on schedules and changes is to subscribe to the scheduling program. Go to for more information. You can pick schools, sports, teams and levels to receive texts or emails when changes happen.

NFHS Network

Although we are not certain as to what our Winter Sports Spectator Guidelines will be, share the NFHS Network subscription information with family and friends who may not be able to attend a game in person. Virtual College Rep Visits

Every year admissions representatives from colleges across the country come to Blue Valley West to meet with students and provide information about their institutions. This year these visits will be occurring but they will be held virtually. All college rep visits can be found in added daily. Please sign up in Naviance to attend any session you are interested in. Naviance under the colleges tab. At the moment we have 40 visits scheduled.


Jaguar Stadium Blankets

Get ready for Cyber Monday!! BVW Jaguar Stadium Blankets will be marked down to $30!! Original price is $50. Blankets will be on sale beginning Monday, November 30th until Friday December 4th or until we sell out. You can pay an extra $5 for delivery to your porch (for BVW attendance area) or there will be designated pick-up dates/times emailed to you after purchase (week of Dec. 14th).
