LEAD Week Lesson: Habit 5-Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood
November 12-18, 2017
2. The Lexington High School Winterguard is holding auditions for the 2018 season Monday through Thursday in the LHS Commons from 4-6 pm. You can pick up an audition packet in the front office or See Mrs. Gable in the band room if you have any questions.
3. The boys and girls basketball teams will scrimmage Pine Ridge Middle on Tuesday at PHMS. The girls will start at 5:30 and the boys will follow at 6:45.
4. The Book Fair and the PTSA Fall Fest will be teaming up for an evening of fun on Thursday from 5:00 to 8:30. Here’s the schedule of events:
- 5:00 PM COUGAR CON/FALL FEST in gym, bus loop, Cafeteria Commons, and Learning Commons. Food, fun, bounce castles, silent auction, vendors, and Scholastic Book Fair in Learning Commons
- 6:00 PM Chad Crews presentation
- 6:45 PM Cosplay Costume Contest
- 8:00 PM Announcement of Cosplay Costume Winners and Silent Auction Winners on school intercom.
- 8:30 PM End of CougarCon/FallFest
5. It's time for the PHMS.....Battle of the Flags (Carolina/Clemson) to help Battle for a Cure! Every day this week during all lunches donate to your favorite team. The team that raises the most money will have their team flag fly in place of the PHMS flag on November 20 and 21 - just in time for the big game. The contest is sponsored by the PHMS NJHS and all proceeds go to Relay for Life.
6. The PHMS Relay for Life is hosting an on-line 31 Party! Order from now until Nov. 15. If you have any questions, please contact Mary Carpenter at mcarpenter@lexington1.net

This week is our annual Battle of the Flags to help Battle for a Cure.
Our NJHS members will be collecting Carolina vs Clemson donations during all lunches and in the carline Friday morning.
We will then fly the winning team's flag in place of our PHMS flag on the Monday and Tuesday before Thanksgiving break.
All proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
