Free Breakfast and Lunch for ALL Students
What You Need to Know:
- Every Child will receive a letter in an envelope to take home. THESE MUST GO HOME TOMORROW, 10/5.
- There are 2 different versions of the letter. Some families will receive a Household Survey that we are hoping they will return. We cannot require this to be returned, however, we are asking that it be returned by 10/12. These letters will have an envelope tucked inside so that they can return the survey and keep it private.
- If you receive a survey/envelope back, please send to the office when you receive it.
- Kristine will announce the day we will start offering free breakfast and lunch for all. Look for an email from her.
- It is difficult to tell what kind of impact this will have on our breakfast and lunch lines. We will have to monitor and see what adjustments might need to be made. However, for breakfast, I am looking for any aides that might be able to start their work day earlier (compensation provided) to help supervise the breakfast line in the morning. We need you stationed out in the hallway to assist/monitor students while they are waiting. If you would be able to arrive at 8:00 a.m. and be in the cafe hallway by 8:10 a.m. for supervision, please let me know. We will assess after the first week to determine if this or anything else is needed.
