Week of 2-25-19
Welcome Back from Winter Break!
In all my years of having a winter break, I have never taken a vacation until this year. Now I want a vacation every year! The 80+ degree sunny weather each day in Florida was perfect to recharge and lighten spirits as we return to our drab, Michigan winter that doesn't seem to want to go away! I hope you had some time to recharge and refocus as we move into the last few weeks of winter!
There is a PTO meeting tonight starting at 6:30 PM at the Hamlin Pub on 25/Van Dyke for anyone that would like to attend. I will be sharing the results of our PTO survey with the board and any other members. The board is looking to prioritize efforts for funding based on teacher/student input for Morgan Elementary. Thank you to all who took the time to contribute to the survey so your voice/opinion is heard!
The Math Expressions consultant day has been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 19. The schedule is the same as before, just on another date. The schedule is listed further down.
If you haven't already signed up for the Literacy Training in either March or August, please make sure you do so soon. If you select the March 4th or 5th dates, please complete sub paperwork so we can send to Lorraine Ankley by this Friday, March 1! You also need to sign up online using the Signup Genius link that was emailed before the break.
Have a great week!
Sue
Lunch Count for Tuesday, February 26
Please mark the students who are buying lunch on Tuesday, Feb. 26, on the class list and return that list to the office.
Lunch Orders for Wednesday, should be logged into Power School as usual.
When students come to purchase lunch on Tuesday, their name will be checked off as they go through the line. This will also be a nice check of which students are buying lunch without pre-ordering!
Thanks for you help with this unique situation at lunch! First time without a cashier on duty this year.
