Germination and Harvest Times for Radishes
Germination time: Radishes are a fast-growing, annual, cool-season crop. The seed germinates in three to four days in moist conditions with soil temperatures between 65 and 85 °F
Harvest time: It takes 22 to 70 days to harvest.
Specifics
We planted our radishes on March 19th, 2015. In three weeks our radishes should be ready, about April 9th, 2015. The seeds should germinate on the 23rd of March, 2015 if the weather is warm enough.

1. History of Radishes
First cultivated in China, radish crops spread through the Northern Hemisphere and into Europe in the 1500s. Radishes had reached Massachusetts by 1629.

Radishes are members of the Brassicaceae (mustard or cabbage) family. The root is related to kale, broccoli, cauliflower, and horseradish, among others.
