November 4, 2023
Hello, Longwood Families!
On Monday we began the second quarter of the 23-24 school year. It has been a wonderful start and we have seen tremendous growth and dedication from our students!
Report Cards
Please take a moment to reflect with your child on what they have learned. One way to do this is by reviewing their report card, available in ParentVue. By checking your student's report card, you will gain insights into their academic performance, effort, and achievements. It is a chance to celebrate their success and discuss any challenges that are an opportunity for support and improvement. Report cards and our upcoming Parent/Teacher Conferences are tools to work in partnership with our dedicated teachers. We appreciate your involvement and support!
Parent/Teacher Conferences
Conferences are an excellent opportunity to connect with your child's teacher, discuss their progress, and address any questions or concerns you may have. Conferences will be held on Thursday, November 16th from 4:30-8:00pm and Monday, November 20th from 8:00am-8:00pm. Sign up for a time in ParentVue (see below).

LMC News
It is almost time for our fall bookfair. The book fair will be held the week of teacher conferences (November 14 - 20). Students will bring home a flyer with a letter attached about the book fair. The letter can also be found by following this link.
The book fair raises funds for the LMC. These funds are used to pay any fees that are part of an author visit, purchase supplies for the LMC or to purchase new books. As in the past, students may use their PushCoin account to pay for items at the book fair. Please look at the letter for more specific information and for the slip that must be returned if you want students to use their Push Coin funds. If you have any further questions please contact Donna Kouri at donna_kouri@ipsd.org
