This week..
SPOT Award: Nominate a colleague for a SPOT AWARD. This year our theme is ONE TEAM, ONE GOAL. If you feel that someone is acting as an active player who has significantly made contributions to making their team successful, please nominate them by clicking on the link above. I have nominated quite a few of our staff members this year...you can too!! :)
5/21/18 - Wrap Up Focus on 2017-18 -Visit from Cameron 8:30am in the library
- OAPSE members that are working during the meeting time are required to attend the meeting. If you feel that an office person needs to stay back to manage the door/phones, that is fine.
- OAPSE members that are not working during the meeting time may attend the meeting voluntarily. If they attend, they can fill out a timesheet to be paid.
- The above points should not include transportation employees or second/third shift custodians. I will hold separate meetings with them.

Make sure RIMPS are up to date and place in student file.
Citizenship Certificates/ PRIDE student (Nancy needs 1 boy and 1 girl for Citizenship, and 1 student per class for the PRIDE award)

- Your self-assessment and Professional Growth Plans need to be submitted to me by June 6, 2018.

- Please update the parent communication log for April by the end of the month.
- NSGR Levels for Spring 2018 : Please make sure the chart is filled in by May 31.

CLASS LISTS FOR NEXT YEAR
Here is the placement cards to help create class lists for next year.
Class lists will be due June 5th. (date extension)
If you have requests...here's some language from our Elementary handbook.
Many factors are taken into consideration when making class assignments. These factors include ability, achievement, reading level, personality of the child, peer relationships, cluster grouping, special education needs, English language learning needs and knowledge of the individual teachers. Parent requests for specific teachers will not be honored.
Class lists are posted at each building in August.
This Summer...
CALL and plan AHEAD if needing to work at Chapman over the summer… parking lots and driveway repaved, a new HVAC system is being, and secure entryways will be constructed, new office and clinic, summer school, and some room moves. Please note that you MUST contact the Nancy Surak or Mark Hacker to gain entry into the building. Access may be denied depending on the timing and the nature of the work being done. Thanks
