The L.A. Lakers were not always in L.A. They started in Minneapolis, and then they moved to L.A. I always wondered what it would be like if they stayed in Minneapolis.

Reinforcements

In 1997-1998 Shaquille O'Neal was recruited to the Los Angeles Lakers. That made the L.A. Lakers unstoppable. With Shaquille O'Neal and smart coach Phil Jackson there future was unthinkable.Kareem-Abdul Jabbar was another legend for L.A. because he beat the scoring title for L.A. He also beat the scoring title for the whole NBA league and to this day he still holds the scoring title. Magic Johnson was another legend for the L.A. Lakers because he made fancy passes. He also was a 6'9 point guard a point guard is the smallest position in the NBA.

Kobe Bryant

Kobe Bryant was a phenomenal player, for the Los Angeles Lakers and the entire NBA. He started playing in 1997-1998 he had a great rookie year. As well as all the other years.2000-2002 he won three championships in a row! He also won two more in 2009 and 2010. In 2008 he won MVP, [Most Valuable Player] so 2008 was won of his best years by far. But Kobe Bryant is retiring to this day 2016. But his very last NBA game he scored 61 points! so that was a great way to end his career.
