Penn Symphonic Winds places seventh in the state
The Penn Symphonic Winds placed seventh at the ISSMA State Finals in Indianapolis.
Saturday's performance was the 19th consecutive appearance for the Penn Symphonic Winds in the Indiana State Concert Band Finals.
Penn's Beatrice Innocenti places in IHSADC competition
She also competed in the state TSA competition and won 2nd place with her Architectural Design submission.
This year’s competition “A Formal Education” focused on some of the foundational aspects of design – organizational systems, and visual order. Students were asked to design a new design-centric high school. This year’s program is larger than usual, and will encourage students to start with the fundamentals in order to develop a holistic design. This multi-dimensional program presents many layers of complexity for design exploration and should be an engaging challenge for any student at any skill level who is interested in art, architecture, drafting, or interior design.

Sign up for Senior Parades
Seniors in the Class of 2022! Sign up for your senior parade to your elementary school on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 OR Thursday, June 2, 2022. You’ll celebrate your achievement, thank your teachers, and inspire elementary children!
A light breakfast will be served in the north end of the cafeteria starting at 8:20 a.m. Buses will leave Penn door C at 9:00 a.m. and return by 10:45 a.m. (seniors cannot drive themselves due to safety concerns and lack of parking at the elementary schools)

You will probably want to take photos with a favorite teacher, but check with the elementary teachers and principal about permission. Don’t post pictures of elementary students on social media due to privacy rights. (If the student is your little sibling, of course you may!)
If you did not attend a P-H-M elementary school, you can “adopt” one and go with a friend.

Help build a bright future as a P-H-M employee
Parents, guardians, grandparents and community members can help build a bright future as an employee of the Penn-Harris-Madison School Corporation.
Who would work better in P-H-M schools than those with a vested interest in the success of P-H-M schools? It's a unique way to give back to the community.
In addition to the many benefits of working in P-H-M schools, it offers parents/guardians the opportunity to be on the same schedule as their children in terms of start and finish times to the school day, as well as winter break, spring break, etc.

Become a Penn Booster !!!!
We truly appreciate your dedication and support of Penn High School. The Penn Booster's main function is to enhance the overall educational experience for the students here at PHS, and we couldn’t do it without you. The Boosters provides resources for our PHS athletic and student groups through various fundraising efforts, including events, sponsorships, donations, concession stand income, and most importantly through our memberships.
Memberships are $10 a year and are open to anyone interested in supporting Penn. Becoming a Booster Member does not mean you have to be on the Booster Board. You can be a representative for your respective athletic or academic team and be the liaison to the Board, or you can just support the Booster program by becoming a member with your $10 donation.
We are also excited to have launched our new Booster website. Please visit us at http://www.pennboosters.org as we continue to connect with the PHM community.
If you are interested in sharing your gifts or talents with the Boosters, we would very much enjoy finding an opportunity for you to do that. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. I look forward to the opportunity to meet you and talk about how you can help our group continue to provide the “Gold Standard” that we are accustomed to here at Penn.
