Creative Arts with Ms. Dawn
Creative Arts lessons began last week at Donnelly Elementary. We are excited to have Ms. Dawn back in the building this year. The focus for the 1st quarter will be place-based lessons on Idaho animals. Students will learn about habitats and practice acting out animal traits. Students will then work on self-guided projects with their classroom teachers.
Parent Drop Off / Pick Up
We ask that our parents avoid stopping / parking in the bus lanes before and after school. If you are dropping your child off please pull up to the flag pole. This will allow us to keep the bus lanes clear. Thank you!
Donnelly Elementary Title I / Response to Intervention (RTI)
Title I is a federal aid program designed to assist children in meeting the state academic standards. At Donnelly Elementary, our Reading Specialist works in conjunction with our classroom teachers to ensure that our students with the highest needs are receiving the additional instruction required to meet state standards. During the month of October, we will notify our parents if their child is receiving intervention. I am including a link to our Title I page and a brochure (below) that provides detailed information. As the Title I Coordinator for the district, I would like to invite our parents to contact me if they have any feedback or have any questions. -David Pickard
