What is Poison Control?
Poison Control is a 24-hour hotline providing emergency medical advice on treating victims. You would call them if you was exposed to any type of poison shape or form.
What to do.
If poison is swallowed you immediately try to find what was swallowed, then call the Poison Control. After they answer, you follow their directions.
If poison is inhaled you immediately find fresh air.
If poison is on the skin you quickly remove the poison. You then rinse your skin for 15 minutes. Rinse the skin with a mild soap and water. Call 911 if needed.
If poison if in the eyes you try to flush the eye out by rinsing you eye for 15 minutes. While rinsing the eyes have the victim try and blink as much as possible. Do not rub the eye and call 911 if needed.
