Dear St. Anne Parents,

OK, so NOW you can see that the scaffolding is going up around the school building as the painting of the school building will be starting soon. We are very happy to see this phase of our school building's upgrade underway. In addition, you must have noticed the buckets and cones located in various parts of the school yard and property. Those items represent the beginning stages for the landscaping work that will be taking place this June. The school yard perimeter and other areas around the school and parish plant will be totally transformed into ecofriendly planting spaces and run-off water collection areas. We look forward to watching these many enhancements that will be helping to beautify our school.

STUDENT VACCINATION SURVEY....3 MINUTES!

Attached is a very short survey that I am asking all parents to fill out for EACH of their children in the next three days. This survey is confidential and will NEVER be shared with anyone outside of the school office/staff. We are very happy to have a vaccine available to adults and children 5-17 years old. The vaccine is helping to keep everyone healthy. The Omicron virus is easily spread, but the end result of getting that virus is so much less debilitating or life threatening because we are vaccinated! Thanks for helping to keep everyone safe.

ST. CLARE PARENT EDUCATION EVENING - JANUARY 27

A St. Clare parent education session will be offered via zoom webinar and features a candid and experienced panel of speakers including a learning differences expert and parents and educators who have navigated successful partnerships pre and post learning difference diagnosis for students in K-8 Catholic schools. The purpose of this workshop is to support parents with information to navigate LD assessments, resources, and interventions in partnership with community partners and Catholic schools. The panel discussion will be followed by a live Q & A.

Sessions are free of cost and offer live, real-time translation services in 20 languages.

More information can be found at school.sfarchdiocese.org/leadlearn and the attached flyer.

GRANDPARENTS' DAY - CANCELLED

Unfortunately, we will be cancelling Grandparents' Day this year. There appears to be very low attendance which may coincide with the virus and the concern for the health of some grandparents. We are sorry not to be holding this fun event this year, but look forward to hosting it next year.
