From the Principal's Desk
As we approach the month of March, I wanted to remind you that this is a crucial time for us to come together and work towards closing any gaps in your child's education. We value your input and collaboration, and we believe that together we can ensure that your child has a successful academic year.
In order to facilitate this collaboration, we would like to invite you to connect with us in the coming weeks. We encourage you to reach out to us with any questions or concerns you may have, and to share your thoughts and ideas with us. We believe that by working together, we can create a positive and effective learning environment for your child.
Additionally, we have some exciting online activities planned for the upcoming Spring Break GMAS, and we encourage you to sign up now to ensure your child doesn't miss out on this valuable opportunity. This is a great way for your child to stay engaged in their education during the break and continue to make progress towards their academic goals.
Let's MARCH in MARCH together! We look forward to hearing from you and working with you to ensure your child's success.
Truly
Dr. Maisha N. Otway

Parent Perception Survey
Fulton County Schools encourages parents to take the Annual Parent Perception Survey between February 13 and March 10. Reponses to the survey will help the district make improvements to our schools, and will provide important data for the development of our new strategic plan. The survey is anonymous and confidential and should take about 10 minutes to complete. Parents are asked to complete one survey per school where they have one or more students enrolled. Additionally, students in grades 4-12 will take the Annual Student Perception Survey between February 13 and February 24 during the school day. This survey is also anonymous and confidential.
Hardship Transfer Deadline Feb.28th
Parents of eligible Fulton County students can apply for a 2023-24 hardship transfer to another Fulton County school or request renewal of an existing hardship transfer. Please click link & complete application for hardship transfer by Feb. 28th deadline.
Black History Month
The month of February has been set aside as Black History Month to honor the triumphs of Black people. Black history month celebrates African Americans’ triumphs, accomplishments, and experiences. By observing this month, we are reminded of the achievements and sacrifices made by Black men and women. Everyday during the month of February Ms.Yen reads a black history fact.
