First Commerial TV Broadcast 1939

RCA introduced television to the American public at the 1939 World's Fair. Before the fair, they published a brochure for their dealers to explain television. The opening ceremony and events at the fair were televised. President Franklin Roosevelt dedicated the fair, thereby becoming the first president to be televised.
Lasting effects
After it was first broad casted it was used to keep the people update on the current news. During world war 2 it was used to keep tract of who was winning the war. The broadcaster where now able to efficently get important news to the people.
