A Letter from Kimberly Rogers, the Coordinator of Residential Life

Hello, Caddo families!

It's hard to believe only a month has passed since Move-In Day, as so much has happened. Life at LSMSA has been busy from the day students started arriving on campus and has not stopped. All of the halls had a fabulous showing at Eagle Antics, our annual hall competition, and the students have started getting involved with various clubs and activities since Club Fair a few weeks ago. Among the exciting happenings in Caddo, our newly revived hall council will have its first meeting next week. I am really looking forward to hearing from the students about ways in which we can improve their experiences living in Caddo. It's certainly an exciting time to be at LSMSA!

As always, thank you for sharing your students with LSMSA. It is a joy to work with them. For those of you who will be traveling to Natchitoches to pick up your students for the extended weekend, please feel free to stop by and let me know if there is anything I can do to help you or your student; otherwise, I am available by phone or e-mail.

Thanks,

Kim Rogers

Host Families

Living away from home can be a stressful thing in a teenager's life. Students are missing religious services, home-cooked meals, attendees to their events, and the convenience of having a parent around.

LSMSA has a fantastic program where families in Natchitoches can be paired up with students from LSMSA, called the Host Family Program. A student's host parent may take a student to Wal-Mart, out to eat, to religious services, and may also make them a home-cooked meal.

If you are interested in pairing your student up with a family from the community, please contact Audra Allen or Kimberly Rogers for further information.
