A Note From Dr. Wendland

Hello, Collegewood Families,

Each year, I spend the first few weeks of school visiting each class to read a story and talk with the students. We have had great fun spending time together and reconnecting! This week our team will be disbursing science materials. It is very important that you make time to come to campus Monday-Wednesday to pick up learning materials for your child from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Please review the details below. We appreciate the partnership between home and school as we work together to help our students stay engaged during learning. News From the District Office

Distance Learning Behavior Expectations

Thank you so much for your ongoing support and partnership as we face the challenges of Distance Learning. The kids have done a wonderful job of participating and staying engaged in their learning. You should have received an email from the district outlining behavior expectations. Please review these with your children so that they understand what is expected. This is a friendly reminder: Students should be ready to start school at 8:00 a.m. dressed and fed. Students should not be wearing pajamas or eating breakfast when school begins.

Also, please remind your children, just like in the classroom, they should not be playing with toys or other items. We are together learning for a much shorter school day and every minute counts. Please talk with your children about the importance of participating fully in class. Also, cameras must be turned on so that teachers can see all of the students. You may review the district guidelines in their entirety by clicking HERE
