PRINCIPAL'S CORNER
Communication came out separate from this one regarding our Board of Education taking action to move from our current 4+1 learning model to bring our kids back for 5 days a week of face to face learning starting January 25. Please see that communication for the full details.
Staff and students continue to do fabulous learning work both in and out of the building but coming back 5 days a week is great news. We must all work together to make the 5 days of face to face learning work. Risk mitigation and watching for symptoms will help us stay successful. We appreciate our communities and how they are helping us make learning happen.
Wear a mask when in public. Practice social distancing. Wash your hands often.
As always, please contact the office if you are in need of any assistance.
Mrs. Michalski
Notes from the Office
Calling all 4k Students! Pre-registration letters will be sent by the middle of February to all the families on our census list who have children eligible to attend 4K next fall. If you know of someone new to the area with a four year old child, please have them call the office at 920-826-5819.
Early Childhood Screening: Oconto Falls School District conducts developmental screenings for preschool age children (2 years, 9 months to 5 years, 0 months) who reside within the district. The purpose of the screening is to provide you with developmental information (speech, language, motor, pre-academics) on your child and to identify children who may need access to early intervention. Call to schedule your free screening today at 920-848-4476.
Winter Weather: Now that there is snow on the ground, students wishing to play on the fields or equipment must wear boots and snow pants to play in those areas. Our goal, of course, is to prevent students from having to sit in their classrooms with wet feet and pants all day. If you need assistance with winter clothing, contact the office. It would also be a good idea to have extra socks and masks in your child's backpack just incase things get wet.
Panther Masks for SALE: The office is selling Panther Strong masks for $4. We have youth and adult masks. If you are interested in purchasing one, please send $4 in an envelope with your child's name and what size you would like labeled on the envelope. We have a limited number and as of now, we don't plan to order more.

Message from Food Service:
Just a reminder that all meals are still free for all students. Meals will remain free until further notice. If this would change, we would notify all families giving enough notice to replenish accounts as needed. We also offer meals free on our virtual days. These meals are taken home on Tuesday at the end of the school day. If you aren't getting meals and want them for your virtual learning day, just contact me.
Just a reminder that this applies to breakfast and lunch only. It does not include snack milk, extra milk or ala carte items. These items are charged to your family food service account.
Take advantage of this great opportunity.
