Reformation of the Church

When Zwingli became leader of the church in Zurich, he had all of the paintings removed because he believed that the images where being worshiped, not Christ himself.

Zwingli had music banned in the Church, not because he didn't like it, but because he believed that the singers were not singing for the glory of God, but for their own aggrandizement.

Teachings of the Gospel

Unlike most pastors, Zwingli spoke directly from the bible. Most preachers added to the verses to make the illiterate pay more tithes or give money to them. Zwingli preached from the bible and interpreted it into his own perspective.
