Good Afternoon Lincoln Families:
I hope this message finds you well as we enter into the month of April (while it still feels like February). Exciting events are being planned for as we longingly await for the coming of Spring.
- Today we held our in-person 5th grade Wax Museum - it was incredible!
- High-Interest Day is just around the corner - thanks to all of our volunteers!
- We are planning for our Band, Orchestra, and Choir concert to be held in person on May 2nd at 7:00pm.
- A coding club will be starting in May for our 3rd and 4th graders.
- Save the date for our Celebration of Learning - including a ribbon cutting, all-school read event, science fair, and open house on June 2nd from 4:00-6:30.

The Lincoln Music Staff is happy to announce the return of our 4th and 5th Grade Band, Choir, and Orchestra Spring Concert! We invite families to join us on Monday, May 2nd at 7:00 PM in the Lincoln gym. Our students are very excited to share their learning with you in person!

NEW: School Board Election Results
The results of the April 5, 2022 election are as follows:
Seat #1: Jenny Hoag
Seat #2: Michael Meier (incumbent)
Seat #3: Eric Jessup-Anger (incumbent)
School Board members take the oath of office prior to or on the fourth Monday in April and will officially take office on April 25, 2022. Each Board member will serve a three-year term.
NEW: Summer School Registration Now Open
Summer School registration is now open for students currently enrolled in the Wauwatosa School District. Registration for non-residents will open on Monday, April 18. All enrollments should be conducted via Infinite Campus. Course selection will close on Friday, June 10. For more information, please visit our Summer School web page.

Whitman Middle School & Montessori Proudly Present Shrek Jr. Please join us Thursday May 12 & Friday May 13 at 7pm & Saturday May 14 at 2pm at West High School for our Shrek-tastic production! Over 85 Whitman, Montessori & Wauwatosa West students are helping create this amazing show. Come see a Dragon, Ogres, Dulocians, and all the Fairytale Creatures celebrate their individuality and find their strength in each other. Big dance numbers, fantastic songs and entertainment await! Tickets are officially on sale for the EFW's Black & White Gala on Saturday, May 7 at the Renaissance Milwaukee West at 6 pm. Two years and one reschedule later, the EFW is so excited to bring the community together again and raise money for the amazing educators in Wauwatosa. Judges Needed for Wauwatosa East Issue Fair
Join the Wauwatosa East High School junior class for an evening of civic action at the Wauwatosa East Issue Fair on Wednesday, April 27 from 5:30 - 8 pm in the gymnasium. Students have been working on a capstone social studies project to address societal issues with personally constructed public policies in order to create change. We are in search of judges to attend the event and interact one-on-one with students to hear and reflect on their policy ideas with guided reflection sheets provided. If you’d like to be a judge, please contact Mike Fischer at fischemi@wauwatosa.k12.wi.us.
Longfellow Middle School Presents Frozen Jr.
Please join Longfellow Middle School on May 12, 13, 14, 20 and 21 for their spring musical, Frozen Jr. When their kingdom becomes trapped in perpetual winter, fearless Anna joins forces with mountaineer Kristoff and his reindeer sidekick to find Anna's sister, Snow Queen Elsa, and break her icy spell. Although their epic journey leads them to encounters with mystical trolls, a comedic snowman, harsh conditions, and magic at every turn, Anna and Kristoff bravely push onward in a race to save their kingdom from winter's cold grip. Farmer’s Market Power of Produce Club
The Tosa Farmers Market is open every Saturday from June 4 until October 15 in the heart of the Tosa Village across from the Little Red Store. The market will be open from 8 am to noon with a special sneak peek on Saturday, May 28 from 8 am to noon. All students age five to 12 can participate in the Farmer’s Market Power of Produce Club (POP)! Just check in each week at the information booth and each child will receive $2 in tokens to spend on produce or food bearing plants.
