The Lincoln Lightning

"Your SPARK of information!"

April 8th, 2022

Good Afternoon Lincoln Families:

I hope this message finds you well as we enter into the month of April (while it still feels like February). Exciting events are being planned for as we longingly await for the coming of Spring.

  • Today we held our in-person 5th grade Wax Museum - it was incredible!
  • High-Interest Day is just around the corner - thanks to all of our volunteers!
  • We are planning for our Band, Orchestra, and Choir concert to be held in person on May 2nd at 7:00pm.
  • A coding club will be starting in May for our 3rd and 4th graders.
  • Save the date for our Celebration of Learning - including a ribbon cutting, all-school read event, science fair, and open house on June 2nd from 4:00-6:30.

More information to follow! We are so excited to be filling our calendar with these amazing events!

After-school Playground Supervision - It takes a 'Tosa' Village!

We have no after-school supervision. Children are allowed to stay and play if they are being supervised or if they have already checked in with their family. Please be aware that our playground is open to the public during non-school hours and is treated as a public park. Our playground guidelines are posted but we do not provide supervision to enforce them. It is our hope that our Lincoln students will continue to show their SPARKs and follow the expectations of fairness, kindness, and inclusion that we promote during the school day.
