*All returning students who have had a recent change of address should submit proof of residency to the campus when returning to school in August. Dear Families,

Our district values your feedback! We are currently surveying Austin ISD families in order to gain insight into your perception of our school and district effectiveness. To ensure we continue to provide high-quality, rigorous learning experiences that meet the needs of our learners and prepare them for college and career, we need your feedback. We want to know what you think.

To administer these surveys, we have partnered with Panorama Education to conduct our 2022 Family Survey. Panorama safeguards your privacy, keeping your responses confidential. The survey shouldn’t take more than a few minutes to complete and will be a valuable source of information for us as we work to make our schools and district as good as they can be.

You may complete the survey online between March 21, 2022 and April 8, 2022 using a computer, tablet, or smartphone by visiting the website

Staff Appreciation Spotlight - Ashley Saenz

Today, April 4th, is National School Librarian Day, and here at Bear Creek we sure have the best! Today and all this week we are honoring our librarian extraordinaire, Ashley Saenz.

Thank you, Ms. Saenz, for sharing your love of books with our Cubs! Your kindness, expertise, and fun shine through as you work with students each day and continue to build our fabulous library. We thank you!

Technology is changing fast, and many of us are struggling to stay one step ahead of our kids. Please join us on Tuesday, April 12th at 5:30-7:00 pm for a brief PTA meeting followed by an expert digital presentation and Q&A about how to teach kids to be smart, safe, and respectful digital citizens. We’ll also cover privacy and security issues, how to encourage responsible Internet use, and even more.

We will have a brief PTA General Membership meeting at 5:30, followed by the Tech Talk beginning at 6pm. Hope to see you there!

Need dinner plans for Wednesday? We've got you covered. Stop by Doc's Backyard Grill between 4pm-close and Bear Creek PTA will receive 10% of total sales.

We would love your help in stocking the Bear Creek staff lounges with snacks and drinks for teacher appreciation week (May 2-6). This is just a small way to show support and lift spirits after a long, crazy year. At the end of the week, we plan to give each teacher a $10 gift card.

Donations can be porch dropped at the school or text 312-972-5545 if you are unable to deliver and someone will pick up your items. Monetary donations for snacks/drinks/gift cards can be sent via Venmo @stacy-eppen
