Bike to School Day 2018 – May 9
The first-ever National Bike to School Day took place on May 9, 2012, in coordination with the League of American Bicyclists’ National Bike Month. Many communities and schools have been holding spring walk and bicycle to school events for years.
National Bike to School Day provides an opportunity for schools across the country to join together to celebrate and build off of the energy of National Bike Month.
Join us on May 9, 2018 and have your child bike to school.
8th Grade Awards Ceremony
The 8th grade awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, June 7, at 10:00 a.m. in the high school auditorium.
Parents, family and friends are welcome to attend the ceremony which is an informal event, not a graduation ceremony. As a staff, we feel strongly that reducing the formality of this event brings more emphasis to the high school graduation where it belongs.
Play-space Committee Update
Our architectural bids have come in and we are excited at the possibilities for our students. In our plan, we are proposing updated basketball courts, play structures and amphitheater seating.
