William Hershel
Sir William Hershel was a German who was a musician but then became interested in astromony and built his own telescopes which were the most sucsessful telescopes in that time. He discovered Uranus in 1781 then discovered two of Saterns moons which are Enceladus and Mimas and also discovering Two of Uranuses moons. For discovering Uranus and two of Saterns moons he was employed by King Gorge III. But that wasn't his main goal, he wanted to count how many stars there are in the sky at night. But then he realised that there are billions of stars and that were a small part of a big disk of stars which we call today the Milky Way, that we're a small part of a big universe of universes.
