The times are in meters so you will need to do the conversion. The formula is meter time/1.11=yard time. The invitational qualifying times are also in meters on these meet results.
Swim suits
I've made a complaint to AGleam about how our new swimsuits are wearing.
They have been in contact with Q about possibly replacing them ALL. Q is only taking a small amount of responsibility by volunteering to replace 10 suits. We will continue to work on this.
If you are interested in a new suit please email your info to events@swimcuda.com
Please include:
Name
Suits style (brief, jammer, thick or think strap)
Size
If you have multiple suits please include them all listed separately.
I will be randomly drawing the 10 suits out of a hat.
Thanks,
Wendy

Cudas!
5-0! Great job Cuda Nation! It looked like it was going to be a hard fight, but we pulled ahead victorious against the Stars! We are heading in to our divisional championship stronger than ever! Let's finish out this season next week with a Bang and a Win!
This season has flown by and we are coming into our final meet before Invitationals. Please remember, all swimmers are allowed/able to swim in our Divisional Championship meet next week. We need all of our Cudas to bring their support, speed, and sportsmanship to Cy Ranch, and bring that trophy home!
There will only be a single A relay in each age group. During dual meets, we can have up to C relays. Since we are competing against 5 teams at once, we will all each have only one relay. It will be composed of the fastest swimmers based on seed and split times collected over the season. Finally, the biggest difference, the pool will be indoors with 8 lanes! This will make the meet run a bit faster, and allow swimmers the opportunity to get even faster times. Make sure all swimmers attend warm ups to get used to the blocks/flags/walls/etc.
This week's practices will include technique building as well as endurance training. We will finish the week off with our normal meet prep.
I am so proud of all the hard work of all of the Cuda swimmers this year! The improvements and achievements over this season is incredible. There is really no question when I say, Cuda Nation is the best NWAL swim team! Go Cudas!
Thank you again to all of our parents, volunteers, and board members! This team and the swim meets wouldn't run without you! Your hard work and dedication is so appreciated!
If you have any comments/concerns please contact me at coachjennie@swimcuda.com. Go Cudas!
Stay safe and swim happy!

RWB & Ponderosa Invitational
Championship/Divisional Meet
When: June 17th
Where: Cy-Ranch High School
10700 Fry Rd
Cypress, TX 77433
Divisional Qualification for Swimmers: The swimmer must have swam in at least two official meets, either a dual meet or an invitational meet this season. If your swimmer wants to swim a stroke at the Championship meet (Divisionals), the swimmer must have an official time for the stroke (Time Trial time does not count, must not be a DQ time)
Volunteer Requirement: In order to successfully run this meet, each team must have an adequate number of volunteers present. If your child is swimming at the Championship meet (Divisionals), you MUST volunteer. This is a separate requirement from the rest of the season’s volunteer hours and does NOT go toward your 17 credit hours. Remember, we want your HELP, not your money!
We will not have tent parents for this meet. We will have “Muster Station”. These volunteers will have a meeting area for the swimmers to meet and then head to the ready bench together.
The volunteer position sign-ups will open at 9:00 P.M. TONIGHT (Sunday, June11th) on http://www.bridgelandbarracudas.com. Every family participating in the championship meet must volunteer. This does not count toward your 17 credit hours. Be sure to sign up for shifts.
RSVP closes on Tuesday, June 13th at 6pm and Volunteer sign-ups close on Wednesday, June 14th at 9 P.M. If you have any questions regarding any of this, please feel free to email board@swimcuda.com.
Swimmers, please arrive at 6:30am to check in. All swimmers check in at the table next to the volunteer check in.
Coach Jennie will begin collecting cards at 6:55am. If you have not gotten your yellow card at that time, your child will be scratched from their events.
Warmups will be at 7am. Your swimmers will be called by age group.
The meet will start at 8:30am.
Go Cudas!

Candy from your coaches
The Cuda Coaches want to see the swimmers after they swim each time at the meet!
When your Cuda gets out of the water after swimming in each event, have them go see the coaches. After giving them constructive feedback, the coaches will give your Cuda some candy!
This is a great time for your swimmer to ask about a DQ (disqualification) or to find out what to do better.
It doesn't matter if your Cuda is a 6 & under or an 18 year old, the coaches want to give them a high five and candy for their awesome swimming! Don't miss out!
