HAPPY FAMILY DAY!

Enjoy this special day with your loved ones celebrating the importance of family virtues and connection to our community. Many people plan and take part in activities aimed at the whole family. These may include getting outdoors (weather permitting)-tobogganing, skating on outdoor ice rinks, watching movies, playing board games, and getting together with extended family.

See you back at school, Tuesday!

Inclement weather procedure

The suggested guideline for extreme weather is that students do not go outside if the temperature is - 25 C or colder. We also keep an eye on the windchill factor as well, especially when wind chill exceeds -20 C. The suggested guideline is at the discretion of school administration and staff as part of their consideration for determining whether recess will be inside or outside.

We recognize the obvious importance of outside recess and extended physical literacy. The health and safety of students is a paramount consideration in the organization of outdoor activities.

**PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CHILD IS DRESSED APPROPRIATELY FOR THE WEATHER**

How to use Google tools to support your EICS student - Parent Info Event

Did you know your child, as an EICS student, has access to G Suite for Education (ex. Google Classroom)? These tools allow students to access, share, and create knowledge that supports their learning. On Feb.28 from 7:00-8:30 pm, come to learn what Google for Education tools your child has access to and explore how to use those tools to support them at home. This free session is for all learners, whether you are a beginner or have experience with technology.

There are limited spaces so please register here.

Please come with your child's EICS login information (if you don't know how to access this please ask your child or your child's teacher). If you don't have this, we will have alternative logins so all participants can participate.

Session is at the new CLS in Sherwood Park behind Costco:
