Klem North Chronicles
February 2018
From the Desk of the Principals
Dear Klem North Families,
We celebrated our first 100 Days of School for the 2017-2018 school year. Our UPK students amazed us with their creative 100 day projects. Check a couple of them out below. Our kindergarten students were hard to identify. Many of them dressed up as if they were 100 years old. We know these detailed projects and adorable outfits require a lot of adult support. Thank you for helping our students prepare for this important celebration! Also, thank you for coming to our Open House and Ice Cream Social. It's always one of our favorite nights of the year. Our students enjoy showing off their great work and have fun introducing you to their teachers and classmates.
As we reach this midpoint time in the school year we would like to remind you how imperative it is to send in notes when your child's typical dismissal plans are changing. Your diligence helps us to keep everyone safe.
We hope you are staying healthy through this flu season; however, if your child does have to miss school please remember to call the attendance line at 217-4108 to report your child's absence. Thank you for remembering to use this line rather than the main office number.
In closing, we hope you and your family have a safe, healthy and joyfully February break.
Happy Valentine's Day,
Laura Ballou and Denise Lemcke
