Want to learn about Bioinformatics and build your resume?
This week's meeting will actually be a collaboration event between Biology Journal Club and the Bioinformatics Studio, a group of Bioinformatics PhD students. They'll be able to give an intro to the kinds of work that are able to be done using Bioinformatics tools and software. Bioinformatics is an incredibly versatile field which can provide a very useful skill set and this meeting could prove very useful for your professional development! For anyone interested, we can then go up and check out their studio and projects too! Anyone interested in pre-med, graduate school in the sciences, or work in the science industry should definitely check it out! Open to all majors and years - invite your friends! Come join us in a great opportunity to build your skills and resume by being a member of our newly founded organization.
