We await the birth of Jesus!
Mission Statement
St. Joseph Catholic School provides students with a safe and prayerful learning environment, enveloped by an intimate community of active and faithful families.
Our Motto: Teaching the Mind...Nourishing the Soul
Theme for the Year - Beauty
From the Principal
I hope you all enjoyed the Thanksgiving Break with friends and family! Your generosity in providing food that week for those in need reached a new high! The St. Vincent de Paul Society representative was astonished at the amount of food we donated. It was more than they have ever received. They were so excited to share with us that they were able to provide Thanksgiving meals to 25 families because of your generosity! You are all truly missionary disciples! God bless you.
Our 2017 H2O for Life Water Walk was a huge success! We were featured in the North Texas Catholic, and the H2O For Life organization called us "Water Warriors"! Thank you for all the water donated for the event. We were able to share it with area first responders. Now we just need to follow through with the pledges. I hope we are able to really make a difference in the lives of the students in Africa whom we are wishing to serve. Thank you in advance for your generosity! The link to the article is below.
If you haven't already, please check out a beautiful video below, highlighting this ever important issue of access to clean drinking water for people in poor countries. I hope you will support the students in raising both money and awareness for this cause. The money we raise will go directly towards funding the clean water access for the village of Palabek, Uganda and for Durato Dela Primary School in Ethiopia. We are all called to be missionary disciples, and we at St. Joseph Catholic School, work hard to answer that call. May the Holy Spirit continue to guide us in all that we do.
As the First Week of Advent approaches, and the school begins to "look a lot like Christmas", let us not forget the true beauty of this liturgical season. We are preparing our hearts for the birth of Jesus.
In Christ's Service,
Diane Price

New Quotes to Ponder
Beauty on the outside never gets into the soul, but beauty of the soul reflects itself on the face.
- Venerable Fulton Sheen
Our Mother Mary is full of beauty because she is full of grace.
- Pope Francis
At St. Joseph Catholic School, we are striving to become missionary disciples by bringing others to Christ, through the recognition of what is beautiful around us each and every day, and reflecting that beauty in our actions.

car line observations
- Please remember that if you are walking your child into the school building, you are to park in the large lot in front of the field. Foot traffic should not be occurring in the very front parking lot, even though there is a defined crosswalk. It is dangerous to be walking between the cars.
- For the safety of all, please be aware of your speed as you move through the parking lots.
- Please be patient with friends and extended family members who drop off and pick up students. Many times they have not been informed of the proper way to navigate the car line. We do reach out to families after arrival and dismissal who seem to not understand the car line pattern.
- If you have a friend or extended family member picking up your child, please take a minute to explain the procedures to them. Please reference the diagram. Thank you!
- We would ask that a cell phone not be in your hand while driving in the car line. We all know it only takes one sudden distraction to alter lives forever.
