We are listening!
Families:
We are listening to your concerns about academics at your Santo Nino. We are not only listening, but working to address your concerns. This note is about Math.
We have decided to implement a program similar to the reading program at the school. There will be a committee of teachers meeting on Tuesday of next week to develop the program. We are also transforming room 301 into the "Math" classroom with various hands on math educational tools. The purpose and thought behind this is similar to what happens in the library. When students go to the library they know they are to focus on reading. Now, they will go to the math room and know to focus solely and in-depth in math. The math program will be as intensive as the reading program. Each class will have a designated time during the week where they will go and have intensive math lessons and beyond the textbook. We want to challenge the students so that they can be the best they can be.
This is a priority for us and we will be implementing it as quickly as possible. Once the committee meets and designs the program we will let you know how it will look and work.
From the finance office
Lunch Free and Reduced application forms have all been reviewed. If you qualified for free or reduced meals you should have received a letter by mail. To help save on cost of postage we will not be mailing denied application letters.
At this time our families are not able to see balances on MSP or Sycamore . If you are not set up in FACTS for lunch payments to be withdrawn monthly, you may make a monthly payment at the Finance Office.
The Parish Subsidy forms have all been returned from all parishes. If you were approved your FACTS tuition account has been adjusted.
Please call or email Maida V. Esquibel with any financial questions you may have. 505-428-7927 or mesquibel@santoninoregional.org .

I enjoy reading, fishing, camping, volleyball and spending time with my family.
Working at Santo Nino has been such a wonderful experience for me. I get to work along side a great staff. I enjoy helping people and take pride in everything I do. I am proud to be a part of the Santo Nino community.

My hobbies include but are not limited to traveling, hiking, biking, gardening, cooking, spending quality time with friends and family and telling puns and jokes! I like to see people smile and laugh.
My work here at Santo Nino Regional Catholic School began in 2013 and feel blessed to be here. My goal each day is to provide the best service to the students, staff, and parents needs.

This is my twelfth-year teaching at SNRC and I couldn’t think of a better place to work. If you’ve ever seen me it’s obvious I’ve been around the block one time too many, and I have had too many jobs to count, but working at SNRCS is a dream come true in the twilight of my working career(s). The facility is immaculate (literally) and the staff and teachers are positive and cheerful. But best of all are the children who always greet me with a smile and pick me up the minute I walk into the building. And this year everything seems new and refreshing with a new batch of talented, creative teachers and a positive supportive administration.
I hate to bore anyone with my unending list of jobs and experience but can tell you the things that are important in my life besides my Ninos Santos. I am also blessed to have a wonderful wife, son, daughter, and four (4) grandchildren who also keep me young. I am very active and love working outdoors building or chopping wood. I am also lucky to still have my marimba-dancing mother who probably talks more than my loving students. I feel blessed to be able to share my faith and the most wonderful story ever told-the story of Jesus.
