Healthy Snacks... Healthy Brain!
PEANUT FREE SNACKS!
We want to be sensitive to some severe needs of some of our Dolphin family as we plan for the snacks we send to school. Please do not send ANY peanut butter or peanut containing snacks with your child!
Please pack a healthy snack for your child's afternoon snack! Foods such as carrots, yogurt, apple sauce, fruits, pretzels, etc are encouraged! This is a snack where your child can discreetly munch on without disrupting others. In other words, crinkling wrappers or snacks that leave residue behind should be avoided, especially with our new technology! Due to allergies, snacks will not be shared and due to efficiency of instructional time, we will not stop for snacking. They will be eating their snack along with completing their work.
Unhealthy foods such as chips, cookies, donuts, candy, etc. will not be allowed and we will ask your child to save it for home or lunch. If you have any questions, please email your child's teacher.
