Dear Gentry Families,
Thank you for preparing and equipping your students with all of the information that we shared in last week's parent newsletter. Though at the time we felt like we were inundating you with information, our transition to in-seat learning went very smoothly this week because of your attention to it. Looking forward to another great week ahead. So glad to have a full house again!

Ramadan
The month of Ramadan begins next week. We know that some students will be fasting and are not comfortable sitting in the cafeteria while others are eating. If your child would prefer another space, please have them talk to Mr. Clayton or Mr. Cheadle in the cafeteria and they can sit in the Media Center until Ramadan is finished.
Picture Retake Day
Student Picture Re-Take Day was moved to Wednesday, April 14. Although this is primarily a picture re-take day for students whose parents were not pleased with the outcome of the original photo, we also will be taking photos of students who are recently new to GMS or hasn't had their photo taken yet. If your student is new to GMS and you would like to place a photo order, please click here and enter code #49850W. If you place your order prior to midnight on Friday, April 16 you will avoid shipping charges.

Kindness Abounds
In addition to fresh lemonade, The Crossing Church also donated B&B Bagels for a quick faculty grab-and-go breakfast treat on Wednesday. Both were a welcome surprise and an amazing act of kindness! You both made our day!
Gentry's Got Talent
Our annual Talent Show is going virtual! We hope that many students will participate in this wonderful end of the year tradition. See all of the details below regarding student video submissions. Hope your student joins us in this fun adventure!

Media Center Minute
We have many Gentry Virtual Students who have not updated their iOS on their iPad to 14.4. This is imperative to improving device efficiently for school work. I have attached a video about how to update the iOS. Please have your student check their iOS and update if it is not on 14.4.
If they are unable to update, please have them contact Mrs. Spurling in the media center either by Schoology message or email.

Materials Students Will Need:
- Updated software on iPad (can be done under settings)
