Purpose-The purpose of Christopher Columbus’s voyages was to find a shorter route to Asia.Of course, Columbus failed in this attempt.Instead of finding Asia, he found the “New World.
Outcomes-Christopher Columbus did find new trade routes, and found the new world.But he did not find the america's .However, his journey kicked off centuries of exploration and exploitation on the American continents.And him and the conquestador were captured.

About Christopher Columbus

In 1479 he married Felipa Perestrello e Monis, the daughter of a wealthy Portuguese family.They had one child together: a boy named Diego. His wife died of consumption only six years after they were married.In 1487 he took a mistress in Spain named Beatriz Enriquez de Arana. She was a 20-year old orphan. She and Columbus had a son, but never married.Columbus was a very needy man he wanted to get stuff done fast so he wasn't the nicest person.
