Congratulations, Warren School class of 2017. We are so proud of you!

Dear families and friends,

As this school year comes to a close, I would like to wish the class of 2017 much success as they prepare to move up to middle school. They are an incredible group of young people. I would also like to once again recognize the amazing careers of Mrs. Joanne Woodington and Mrs. Carol Leavitt. These two teachers, with more than 81 years of teaching experience between them, have been the mainstay of Warren School for many years. They will both be missed so very much.

We will also be saying goodbye to Señor Rodolfo Ruiz and Ms. Kristin Lutz. Señor Ruiz will be at Wamogo next year, and Ms. Lutz will split her time between Goshen Center School and Wamogo.

We will welcome the following staff to Warren School:

Mrs. Christina Smith - Special Education/Literacy Specialist

Señora Kathleen Ruiz - Spanish

Mr. Andrew Gauvin - Physical Education

Ms. Gina Fleming - School Psychologist

All other staff at Warren School will remain the same. The 2017-2018 third graders will be assigned to the two Upper Blended classes and letters will be sent home in early August.

Have a wonderful summer, with lots of fun in the sun. Don't forget to read and work on some fun math along the way! (See links below.)

Best wishes,

Dr. Angela Rossbach

Summer Garden Maintenance

Warren students are readying the beds, and will be sowing seeds and transplanting plants into Harvest of Dreams for it’s 16th growing season!

Through sustainable, organic practices the garden brings life-long, authentic learning into the lives of our students who work hard to collaboratively bring the garden to life. Warren School is very proud of its Harvest of Dreams garden. Since 2002, students, families and staff have worked together to create a garden for students to explore curriculum objectives and environmental stewardship.Throughout the summer, the delicious, nutritious produce is enjoyed by those in need at area soup kitchens and food banks and by families maintaining the garden. Upon arrival back to school in the fall, students enjoy the freshly picked produce and the Warren community is invited to join us at our Harvest Luncheon to enjoy the dishes each class freshly prepared. .

The outreach, celebrations, and success of the garden would not be possible without families helping to maintain it over the summer.

As in the past, we are seeking families to sign-up for one week. (Consider sharing the week with another family!) If your family is able to help, please fill out this form.
