Musculoskeletal conditions are conditions of the bones, muscles and their attachments (e.g. joints and ligaments). They are the most common chronic conditions in Australia and predominantly managed in primary health care settings, a setting for which there are currently limited national data.

Conditions; back pain and problems, osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, juvenile arthritis

Why is it a NHPA

Arthritis and musculoskeletal conditions is a major problem in Australia because 2 in 10 people suffer from one of the conditions related with arthritis and musculoskeletal conditions. A large amount of Australians suffer from it which is 6.1 million who have or had one of the conditions
