Classroom Updates
We then walked over to the nursing home to deliver the cards, have conversations, and share in baked goods. It was a wonderful opportunity for our 5th graders to make connections and share their joy with others in the community.
Holiday Gift Exchange
Dear Families,
We will be celebrating the season of giving through a holiday gift exchange this year. Boys will purchase gifts for boys, while girls will purchase gifts for girls. The exchange will be anonymous and gifts should remain a surprise.
Details follow:
$7 - $10 limit
Gift should be wrapped with a tag indicating boy or girl
Bring gift to school by Monday, December 16.
Gift exchange will be on Friday, December 20 prior to our holiday party.
Please let me know if your family would like assistance in purchasing a gift.

Guinea Pigs Found a Holiday Home - Spring Break and Summer are still available!
We will also need a family for Spring Break and Summer Break! Please reply to me in this email if your family is interested! They would come with a cage, fresh bedding, and food for the break. They love being around people and are very social.

Learning Goals This Week:
Math: I can multiply decimals.
Writing: I can write a paragraph about a given topic (topic, 3 supporting sentences, concluding).
Social Studies: I can learn about a topic from two sources, create a slide, and present my learning about Native American regions and tribes.
