ECHS Student of the Month for October!
Daisy Alatorre-Perez is our October Student of the Month for Early College High School for many different reasons. Daisy is a committed, motivated learner. She holds herself to very high standards and continues to push herself to achieve academically. Daisy does not accept the words, “I can’t” or “I won’t”. She approaches each new day with positivity and grace. Daisy goes above and beyond in her assignments. Work done by Daisy is thorough, well-prepared, and well-done.
Another quality Daisy has is that she is a good at helping other students and is always friendly. Daisy may be quiet, but she is committed and contributes to classroom discussions and is always supportive of her peers. This comes partly from a strong sense of family and faith as well.
Daisy is a discreet leader who is all business when it comes to her academics. She does the work and then some! Daisy is a total team leader – one who leads by example, not just with all the rah rah. She has an interest in becoming an Accountant or Actuary in the future and is someone who ECHS is lucky to have.
Building 51's Coffee Shop is now OPEN!
Our teachers Shawn Abbey and Cheryl Irish have worked alongside new and veteran students in the Business Entrepreneurship program to develop a menu, ordering system, and punch card to make the café safe, functional, and delicious!
All of the drinks pass our health and sugar regulations and are ready for purchase. You can buy a punch card through our Bookkeeper (Angela Quiroz) in the main office, or order your drinks at the café!
