Little Book Library
Winter Break is just a week away – and if you’re looking for a quick and fun way to get books into your house, look no farther than the Little Book Library! It is located in Ovid Hazen Wells Park and available to all members of the Cedar Grove community! Directions are as follows:
Turn onto Skylark Road and go straight. At the intersection with Arora Hills Drive, continue on Skylark Road. When you see a green sign on your right that reads: "Sycamore Farm Drive" & directly behind this green sign is the "Ovid Hazen Wells Park, M-NCPPC Department of Parks,12001 Skylark Road" sign. Make first right turn after these signs which winds up into the park. Look to the right -- go to the 4th parking entrance (you will see a gazebo and playground from this parking lot entrance).
If entering Arora Hills Development from Piedmont Road:
Turn onto Skylark Road. Make first left turn. Sign reads: Ovid Hazen Wells Park, M-NCPPC Department of Parks, 12001 Skylark Road. Take service road to the second parking entrance on left. Pass the lower parking lot and the playground (on your left). When you pass the gazebo -- you are approaching the second parking entrance. Make a left turn. There is a trail leading to the playground, and the library is there facing Skylark Road.

The amended policy includes concepts and language that reflect the current priorities of Board Policy IEF, Early Childhood Education, which will be rescinded upon adoption of amended Board Policy IEA. The proposed amendments to Board Policy IEA affirm the Board’s commitment to promoting the intellectual, social, emotional, and physical growth and development of children in their early learning years through high quality, developmentally appropriate, challenging and comprehensive early childhood and elementary programs. You can view the crosswalk between Board Policy IEA and Board Policy IEF here.
