All Positive - All Athletics - All Eagles- March 2022
A Message from the Athletic Director
I hope everyone had a great spring break and are ready to finish the year strong! I cannot believe competitions for the spring season are in full swing and our kids are ready to compete at a high level. The excitement in our kids eyes is fun to see as some of them are entering their favorite season, while others are joining teams for the first time. We currently have 375 student athletes competing in athletics this spring and there are a lot of supporters that are excited to see what they can do. As a department, we have some very solid programs in the spring and the expectations going into this season are high as the kids have put themselves in a position to show off their skills. Best of luck to all of our coaches, athletes, and families involved!
Students, as the weather gets nice it is a natural feeling to think about putting school work on the back burner. Here is my reminder to take care of your business in the classroom before anything. Summer is right around the corner where you won't have to worry about it. Good luck this season!
Enjoy this months version of Linden Athletics Monthly!

Strength and Conditioning - Youth and High School Students
Coach Williams has been doing a tremendous job starting to build a strength and conditioning program for LHS students. The focus was on the football program to start, but now has evolved into a program for all students interested in bettering themselves physically. Any given day after school there are 40 to 60 kids in the weight room working out!
Linden Community Education is proud to offer a new Strength and Conditioning class for students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. This class is for any student whether they are in a sport or not and it will be run by our new varsity football coach as well, Coach Williams.
