PARENTS' ASSOCIATION--GATOR WALK
The drawing for the 50/50 "Feeling Lucky" raffle to offset Covid-19 expenses will be on Monday, March 22nd.
The Gator Walk will take place on April 23rd. The Gator Walk has proven to be our biggest and best fundraiser! This year, the students, faculty, staff and Parents Association will be working hard trying to raise money for air-conditioning for the 1st floor and to help with the high-cost of extra cleaning and protocols the school has had to add to safely keep our children in school through this trying COVID-19 Pandemic!
- Step 1--on March 24th, parents and guardians check your email for a link to your personal web-based donation page!
- Step 2--IMPORTANT--SPREAD THE WORD! Share your donation page via Facebook, or any Social Media outlet or use the email and text link on the invite and reach out to as many family and SATG friends for their support.
- Step 3--Check in often and follow your child's and our school's progress as we strive to hit tis year's goal of $30,000!!
The T-shirt contest voting will take place during lunch on Wednesday, March 24th. All of the children will have a chance to vote for this year's winner. The winner's drawing will be on the front of the 2021 Gator Walk T-shirts! Our theme is SUPER GATORS!
There are also Sponsorship Opportunities for your business to support our school. If you are interested the forms and logos must be received by March 24.
There is additional detailed information about the Gator Walk. The flyer will be sent to you via email. If you have any Gator Walk questions please email Mrs. Rosina Perks at rosiness@comcast.net.

Daily Health Monitoring
In order to be abundantly safe we are going beyond the current guidelines. We are required to follow the Montgomery County Dept of Health and the Archdiocese of Philadelphia at a minimum. We can however go beyond to ensure teachers, students and staff are safe. We are continuing to quarantine for travel at this time. Thank you for your support.
If your child has a fever or cold symptoms please be in touch with your family doctor and let the office know. Your child must wear a mask while in school. The mask is to keep everyone safe. There will be proper mask breaks throughout the day. If your child is unable to wear a mask in school we are recommending the virtual learning option at this time.
If someone in your household is being tested for Covid, all students need to remain at home and begin virtual learning until the results are reported. For any travel we are following the 10 to14 day quarantine timeline depending on circumstances. If your child is a household contact (meaning someone in their home has covid) the current timeframe is up to 24 days, 10 in isolation and 14 in quarantine depending on circumstances and symptoms.
Parents remember to monitor your child's health everyday. If your child is not feeling well please keep your child home. You do have the option to switch to virtual learning while your child is home. The first day home will be a sick day. Please contact the office.
If anyone in your household is exhibiting symptoms of Covid, please have your child work from home and contact your physician.
When you are picking up your children, please have your mask on and do not stand in groups. Please remain in or near your car.
If your child is home from school, you must call or email the school office with the reason. You must have a doctors note if your child is out sick for 3 or more days. If a Covid test is taken, please contact us with the results. Thank you!!
TEACHER VACCINATIONS
During the School Day
UNIFORMS
We will be changing to the summer uniform on April 6th. Your child may also continue with the winter uniform after April 6th.
You can find all of the details about the uniform at the following link:
https://d2y1pz2y630308.cloudfront.net/17187/documents/2019/1/SATG%20UNIFORMS.pdf
VIRTUAL OPTION
If you have any technical concerns please reach out to Mr. Tom Burns. Please refer to our virtual guidelines and procedures on our website.
If your child is sick, you may contact me directly and switch to virtual. The first day that you are out you will be home sick. Please reach out to the homeroom teacher and to my office so that we can set you up in a reasonable amount of time.
In order to be part of the virtual classes you must follow the guidelines for virtual classes. A student is not permitted to go in and out of virtual classes. This is too disruptive for the teacher and students. Please be aware of the behavior guidelines for class. This is an actual live class and we must be respectful of our teachers and one another. The student will follow the same rules as in session school including the uniform while virtual. If your child is having difficulty wearing a mask during the school day, the recommendation is to use the virtual option. Thank you for your attention to this.
Late for drop off and pick up
