The Warrior Way
Respect, Perseverance, Integrity, Responsibility, Compassion
Warrior Life
We have had an amazing start to this new school year. Even though school may not look like it traditionally has, our students and teachers have done a great job adjusting to our new normal. It has been so refreshing hearing all of the voices and laughter in the hallways and classrooms again. It was great to see so many smeyes(smiling eyes) throughout the building. Throughout this week our students have been introduced to both the classroom and campus expectations. They were introduced to what the Warrior Way means and its five core values of Respect, Perseverance, Integrity, Responsibility, and Compassion. These values are expected of not only our students, but our staff as well. Our teachers have done a great job getting our students back into the swing of school and learning by making their lessons fun and interactive. Many of our 7th grade English classes utilized our outdoor spaces as their students participated in an Escape Room. Mr. Ernest's teen leadership class began participating in group team building activities. Many of our classrooms had students create presentations describing themselves. You can already begin to hear instruments being played from the band hall as well.
We have enjoyed seeing our students both face to face and virtually this week and cannot express how much we have missed them. We have appreciated your patience as we are navigating through this unprecedented start to the school year. We look forward to a great year with your students and can not wait to see all of the great things they are going to learn and accomplish this school year!
