  • Final EXAM will be open to take on Monday 12am
    • Study for final exam using one of the study material: Quizlets: http://quizlet.com/hall_sensei
    • Make sure you study your vocabulary and grammar as well!
    • **IMPORTANT: Make sure you use FireFox and updated Java to do your final exam. YOU CAN ONLY TAKE THIS ONCE! THIS IS A SENSITIVE FINAL EXAM. MAKE SURE YOU FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS, as well as FOLLOW THE DO's and DON'Ts to AVOID your FINAL EXAM closing on you. YOU CAN NOT SAVE your FINAL EXAM and GO BACK TO IT. IT WILL SUBMIT.

Final Exam Info:

IF YOU HAVE STUDIED FOR THE FINAL EXAM, AND YOU'RE READY TO TAKE IT, YOU CAN TAKE THE FINAL. Please read below before doing so.


*Once you open the final exam, you must take it then. You can NOT save the final exam and go back to it!!! Please remember this.

*Make sure you DO NOT open any other browser as well or the exam will close.



For this exam, you will need to have headphones, a headset, or be seated at a computer that has working speakers for the listening portion of the test.

You will also need to use a computer that can both type and view Hiragana and Katakana characters.

All typed answers must be typed in Japanese. Answers typed in Romaji will not be accepted.

In the first part, you will have 5 listening questions that will require you to listen and decode spoken Japanese.

You will also be tested on your knowledge of Grammar and Vocabulary from lessons 1 through 13.

Prior to taking the exam, make sure you have reviewed your vocabulary lists, grammar notes, quizzes, and homework assignments from all of the lessons in this course. Be sure to check your feedback for any mistakes you may have made or items you may have missed.

Make sure you have studied all of the Katakana and Hiragana characters, including the big and small character combinations, the small "tsu" usage, and characters with "sound shifts" (like Ga, Za, Da, Ba, and Pa).

You are not permitted to use notes or any aides (such as a web translator like Google translate) during either part of the exam.

You will have 1 attempt to complete your exam.
