Write-Perform-Produce SciFi Podcast

And perform in a live radio play performance at the Phipps

Join student writers, actors, sound effect artists, composers and musicians to create the HUSH podcast

#HUSHpodcast, affectionately known as HUSH, is a sci-fi series written, performed and produced by students in grades six through twelve. It takes an eclectic team of creatives to produce the show which is first broadcast on the radio program Voices in the Valley before being uploaded onto iTunes, Google Play Music and Stitcher.

The HUSH team is comprised of student writers, sound effect creators, composers, musicians, actors, illustrators, producers and social media experts. We meet on Saturday mornings and additional times as well as determined by the student storytellers and mentors. It's a crazy, wacky, wonderful team of artists who love telling a sci-fi story. Join us!

Perform the finale live at the Phipps for an episode aired on the radio and uploaded to podcast

The HUSH team has completed eight episodes of season 1, and thanks to a grant from the St. Croix Valley Foundation, the finale will be a live radio play performed at the Phipps Center for the Arts the evening of Thursday, July 27. In addition to writing and performing the finale, the HUSH team will be outlining and writing season 2. Most exciting, the finale will introduce a new world based on an authentic Native American culture that will continue on into the new episodes. Native experts will share and advise on how to appropriately research and incorporate a world based on the Ojibwe culture into our storyline. It will be a complete storytelling experience, and we want you to join us!
