Kindergarten Readiness Assessment
(KRA) Teacher Certification
In the fall of 2019, all Genesee County Schools will begin using the KRA in all Kindergarten, Developmental Kindergarten, Young 5’s or any other early kindergarten programs. The assessment measures school readiness of incoming kindergarteners across four domains: Language and Literacy, Social Foundations, Mathematics, and Physical Well-Being and Motor Development. It is administered over the first few months of school, ending by October 31.
