4-H SENIOR LIFE CHALLENGE CONTEST RESULTS

Otoe County 4-H members recently participated in the 4-H Senior Division Life Challenge Contest said Sarah Purcell, Nebraska Extension Educator. The Life Challenge Contest is designed to help 4-H members learn about Family and Consumer Science.

Senior Division 4-H’ers ranked four placing classes in the areas of human development, home environment, clothing, and nutrition. The 4-H members also participated in “The Challenge,” where they were faced with a real-life challenge. As a team, they found a solution and presented their solution to a judge.

Taylor Mead, Syracuse, captured the top honor and received $20 cash award sponsored by American Family Insurance, Brent Harsin Agency of Syracuse. Emma Panko, Syracuse, was the Reserve Champion and received a $20 gift card sponsored by Cubby’s of Syracuse.
