Tackling Personalized Learning Through the Power of Habits of Mind: Focusing on character, resilience and meta-cognition. Audience: K-6 Teachers
Tuesday, November 13, 2018 from 9:00a – 12:00 noon
Facilitators: John Thomas School of Discovery Faculty
Personalizing learning experiences of our 21st century students may be our next big step in education, but cultivating student mindsets that promote it and make it possible must precede it. How do we grow the habits of mind within our students necessary for a personalized learning journey? How do we build character, cultivate resilience, and develop meta-cognitive thinkers? Join us as we start this important conversation and share what we have learned.
