Science
How a Seed Grows. The learning in this unit offers an opportunity to allow students to create and label models of a plant to help solidify their identification of the key plant structures. Model making is a great way to help students visualize their learning and collaborate with peers. Creating a class anchor chart for students to refer to in both ELA and Science would be a good practice.
The next 1st grade Science Academy evening will be held at CRMS on 1/30 from 5pm-7pm. You can register for course 2360 in MyPGS by clicking HERE. We hope you will join us for a night of model lessons, strategies in action and collaboration!
