- Went to the University College London to study law
Civil Rights Movement
- Went to South Africa at the age of 24
- Gandhi spent 21 years in South Africa help leading a Civil Rights movement
Salt March
- The British disallowed Indians to have salt
- Gandhi led a group to the shore and started taking some salt
India's Independence
- When Gandhi got back from South Africa he tried to help India get its Independence
- Gandhi struggle but in 1947 India gained its Independence

- He was assassinated in Raj Ghat, New Delhi
