2015 Highlights

2015 was a great year for Sweet Auburn Works and the Sweet Auburn community. Sweet Auburn Works made great strides in ramping up fundraising and securing grant funding. A new website was launched, new businesses opened, and redevelopment in and around the community is really taking off. To read more about the 2015 successes and accomplishments, click here.

Atlanta Streetcar King Historic Site stop and "The Streetcar Experience"

"The Streetcar Experience" highlights a different Streetcar stop each month, offering an inside glimpse into the history and happenings that shape the Downtown neighborhoods along the Streetcar line.


The King Historic District is the featured stop in January. Check out this Facebook event to learn more about the attractions that are just a short walk of the Atlanta Streetcar King Historic Site stop.

APD Mini Precinct to come to Sweet Auburn Municipal Market

The Atlanta Police Department, Zone 5 is opening a Mini Precinct in the Sweet Auburn Curb Market. This new location will provide operational support to foot beats utilizing bikes and Segways and will provide an enhanced presence along the Atlanta Streetcar route.


This new location should improve response time to incidents in the neighborhood. Welcome our new neighbors!
