Presentation of the Draft District 41 Strategic Plan | watch

At the Board of Education Committee of the Whole meeting on Monday, March 7, a draft of the District 41 Five-Year Strategic Plan was presented by Dr. Steve Webb. Community members had the opportunity to discuss the plan and then reported out to the larger group.

District 41 would like to hear from all stakeholders about the future direction of our schools.

Please CLICK HERE to view the draft Strategic Plan and to provide feedback by Monday, March 14. Note: Edits have been made to the version of the plan that was presented at the meeting. based on the feedback from Board members and community members who participated.

The final Strategic Plan will be presented to the Board of Education on April 18. The final plan will include goals and action steps that are parceled out over the five years of the Strategic Plan. Every year the district will present goals and also report quarterly to the Board about progress and the overall impact of all actions on student learning.

Dr. Martelli shared that he has sent a Triple I session proposal to the Illinois Association of School Boards for consideration.
