What is copyright?

Copyright definition : The collection of rights granted to the author of a piece of work.

Types of copyright...

1. Public and Domain : Isn’t protected by copyright law because it either has expired, created by public money, or the creator donated the work.

Example : If the date of a released song has expired, you can freely listen to it and share it with others.

2. Freeware : Use, copy, or give away for free.

Example : Taking someone's song and listening to it and possibly giving it away to someone else to listen to,

3. Shareware : Similar to freeware but you must pay for full use.

Example : Playing the demo part of an app, but having to pay to play the full thing.

4. All rights reserved : Used by the user in exact details spelled out in the license agreement.

Example : In an app, you are only allowed to do what you are told you can do.

5. Open source : Software that includes the source code with the idea that someone can improve upon it.

Example : Buying a face wash for $19.99 for your first purchase, and then having to pay $50.00 per month after your first time, if you still like the product.
