Carnegie and Greenaway Medals 2016 – Winners’ Parties
Over the past few months Junior and Senior Book Club members have been ‘shadowing’ this year’s Carnegie and Greenaway Awards. These prizes are awarded annually to the writer and illustrator of an outstanding book for children and young people. A total of 16 books have been read, discussed and then scored according to a number of criteria.
To celebrate the announcement of this year’s official winners, and to reward those who participated in the scheme, there will be a Winners’ Party in the Junior and Senior Girls Libraries at lunch time on Wednesday 15th June. Come and see who won the Medals… was it YOUR favourite?!
